Ray Bag Tirreno Tartan

The Ray Bag Tirreno Tartan, which takes its name from the place where the Arno River ends its journey, is made of a precious recycled and eco-sustainable wool fabric that is the result of the encounter of the bouclé yarn with the boutonné. The fabric was made exclusively for Irevedì, 100% made in Italy. The pattern is a maxi tartan with a dominant blue and off-white veined with orange. A rich and full-bodied hand for a bag with a dynamic appeal.

Ray Bag Tirreno Tartan

The long course of the Arno River in our Tuscany has inspired this new collection of Ray Bag. A journey from the source to the mouth of the river in search of traditions, materials, suggestions to be told through the new Ray Bag by Irevedì.
The Ray Bag Tirreno Tartan, which takes its name from the place where the Arno River ends its journey, is made of fine regenerated and eco-friendly wool and was born from the encounter of the bouclé yarn with the boutonné. The fabric has been created exclusively for Irevedì to create a unique, refined and quality product, 100% made in Italy.

The pattern is a maxi tartan with a dominant blue and off-white veined with orange, where the three-dimensionality of the motif is emphasized by the texture of the full and vibrant yarns that make up the fabric. A rich and full-bodied hand for a bag with a dynamic appeal that reveals all its contemporary elegance and versatility. The flap, a recognizable element of the Ray Bag, is made of vegetable-tanned leather, natural and eco-friendly and the use of metals is kept to a minimum.

Materials

This bag is made by young Florentine artisans using the refined techniques of handmade bags. Each piece is unique and comes from our respect for the environment and its preservation. We use natural and regenerated yarns that originate from the recycling of other fabrics whose fibers, keeping intact their natural irregularities, become new fabrics, making it an exclusive pattern for Irevedì. This is why one bag will never be the same as another: it is an integral part of their beauty. The leather of the flap is vegetable tanned, with substances obtained from trees and plants in full respect of nature. Even the use of metal is reduced to a minimum, in the name of functionality and non-invasive style. We pay attention to avoid superfluous also in the minimal packaging, which uses natural fabrics and recycled paper.
